El compa\u00f1ero del venezolano en la formaci\u00f3n Rapax, el holand\u00e9s Nick De Vries, protegido del equipo McLaren, fij\u00f3 el cuarto tiempo en la sesi\u00f3n matutina y el d\u00e9cimo s\u00e9ptimo en la vespertina.<\/p>\n<p>Veinte monoplazas pertenecientes a una decena de escuder\u00edas participaron en el primero de los tres d\u00edas de entrenamientos que se prolongar\u00e1n hasta el mi\u00e9rcoles en el trazado catal\u00e1n.
